Pistol Match
LRPC PISTOL MATCHES
GENERAL
Matches are held the 2nd Saturday of every month. Setup starts at 8:30am. Match starts at 9:00am. Hearing and eye protection are required. There is a $10 fee per shooter. Awards are given for each class. All 12 yard matches start from 45 degree position. Any grip, sights, hold. The 12 yard matches are winter matches, the 25 and 50 yarders are summer events fired from under cover.
CLASSES
Rim fire (auto), Center fire (auto), Revolver for 50 yard matches. Add Carry Gun to 12 and 25 yard matches – 3.5” or shorter barrel, open sights.
BULLSEYE 50 YARD
20 rounds, 10 minutes, single target. 200-20X max score.
BULLSEYE 500
50 rounds -25 yard s – Use turning targets. Maximum score 500-50X
10 rounds slow fire in 10 minutes – use slow fire target
20 rounds timed fire, 5 rounds in 20 seconds – use timed fire target
20 rounds rapid fire, 5 rounds in 10 seconds – use timed fire target
Perfect score is 500-50X points, X counts used for ties.
PAPER SILHOUETTE 25 YARD
20 rounds. 5 rounds in 10 and 20 seconds. Perfect score 200-20X. Use turning targets.
PAPER SILHOUETTE 12 YARD
5 rounds in 10 seconds. Same scoring.
TIMED FIVE TARGET
25 rounds, 25 yards, use turning targets. Acquisition match, five 4” target centers per frame. Five rounds in 20 seconds. Aim at five individual centers per target. Each hit in center is a point. Perfect score is 25-25X. Ten and X ring count used for ties. This is a fast moving match. Bring plenty of guns and ammo.
RAPID FIRE FIVE TARGET
Same as above, but 12 yards and 10 seconds. This match is very fast moving. Bring plenty of guns and ammo
20/60 MINI PIN MATCH
20 pins and rounds in 60 seconds. Up to 18 shooters line up to display of 10 pins at 12 yards distance. Five rounds in 10 and 20 second strings. Group timing. Perfect score is 20 pins knocked over.
22 SILHOUETTE
20 rounds, 12 yards. Shoot at urethane animal targets which flip when hit. 10 rounds rapid fire -5 rounds in 10 second string. Open, optic and revolver classes. 10 rounds timed fire – 5 rounds in 20 seconds. Perfect score is 20 hits.
12 & 25 YARD COMBO MATCHES – Paper silhouette and timed/rapid fire 5 target.
