Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are you open to the general public?
A. No, we are a private club. However, we are always looking for new members. Please visit “How to Join” to start your membership process.
Q. What are the hours the ranges can be accessed?
A. The ranges are open from 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year. Occasionally there are shooting events, so we recommend members and their guests check our calendar to make sure the prospective range is available on the date and time you are planning to visit.
Q. Do you offer concealed carry courses?
A. Yes, we do have concealed carry courses. They are taught by club members who are NRA certified instructors. Please contact us for upcoming course dates and times.
Q. What types of firearms are permitted at the club?
A. We have a rifle and pistol range, a training range (pistols), trap, five stand and skeet. We do not allow machine guns or any other destructive weapons on our premises.
Q. We are a political group who would like to set up a table at your next gun show. How much is it per table?
A. Unfortunately we do our best to keep our shows centered on firearms and firearm accessories. We keep it at that, a gun show.
Q. Is it expected that one has to do work for the club even if he/she is a member?
A. Although we do not require our members to do work for the club, it is highly encouraged. Most work parties do offer some sort of credit for dues, plus you get the satisfaction of knowing that you have made a contribution to the success of our club.
Q. I am not a member nor do I know any LRPC members. Can I come and shoot for just a couple of hours?
A. Our club is private and open only to members and their guests. We are not a public shooting range. If you would like to see our club so you can decide if you want to become a member, please contact us and we will get you started.
